The Nonsense Continues

From YAHOO! Entertainment:

Blanchett Could Be 'Indy's' Next Love

Saturday March 17 4:13 PM ET

Cate Blanchett is in negotiations to star opposite Harrison Ford in the long-awaited fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" series, her publicist confirmed Saturday.

"She is in negotiations, yes," publicist Lisa Kasteler told The Associated Press. She did not elaborate.

--------------------------------------------------

Bad move. Blanchett is thirty-seven -- a mere twenty-seven years younger than ruggedly handsome and virile Harrison Ford. Couldn't they get Scarlett Johansson? She's forty-two years younger than he is --- barely out of her teens, and a better match than the aging Blanchett.

Fortunately, when the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones series is filmed, Dakota Fanning will be old enough to co-star.

I can't wait.

Quote of the Day

Current mood: tired of hearing it's God's will

"Even Moussa himself said that God did this. He is not blaming himself. He is not blaming his neighbor. He knows God wanted it," Sissoko said. "Nobody can prevent fire from doing what it likes...." (Magassa's uncle Koli Sissoko, who is also the father of Magassa's second wife, Aisse, commenting on the fire in a Bronx tenement that took the lives of ten people, nine of them young children.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It must have been a slow night in heaven if God paid a visit to the Bronx tenement and personally removed the batteries from all the smoke detectors.
