Put Your Mouth Where Your Money Is

From The New York Times UrbanEye:

Eating For Haiti Relief

There's still a lot you can do to contribute to the Haiti relief effort. Start with the telethon on Friday night, which will feature performances by just about every pop star on the planet, and on Sunday or Monday make plans to visit one of New York's top restaurants, which are participating in Dine Out for Haiti. The Modern, Fatty Crab, Babbo, ilili and the Waverly Inn are among those on a long list of restaurants that will donate up to 10 percent of sales to charities. Bring a big appetite, proceeds will be distributed to Action Against Hunger, Doctors Without Borders and Partners in Health.

Better yet, stay home. Eat beans and rice, or my personal fave, stir-fry, and donate 100% of the money you saved by not eating out.
